ladies and gentlemen… session 1
Monday, March 31, 2008Two newbies are hittin’ into the Japanese music scene. And I’m lovin’ them.
First, Shimizu Shota. His performance in Music Station back in February brought his single “HOME” (released 2008/2/20) up in the charts the week after. His song’s worth checking out.
Next up, Fukuhara Miho. Her debut single “Change” will be released on 2008/4/16. In the meantime, check out the video. She has one heck of a vocal XD
You might be wondering why I’m into these artistes. Well, they have one thing in common: they were featured in last year’s Tribute to Celine Dion compilation album (with other artistes such as Itou Yuna, K, Lisa, Hirahara Ayaka, etc.). And when I listened to them for the first time (Fukuhara Miho sang “Because You Loved Me”; Shimizu Shota “I’m Your Angel” with Katou Miliyah), I went, “They have potential.”
